Maiden the Philippines

It's been one week since my maiden article came out in Business Mirror.

I love to write. But my Blog history seems to belie that fact haha :-)

8 years ago, I had this professor named Hilario Francia. (Ugh it's been that long? Gawd I'm old...)

Anyways, he was my professor for art appreciation during my days at a local university. After the end of the course, he handpicked a few of us to contribute an article for the Manila Times. So I wrote an article, and whoala! It got published. That article is framed, and on display at home. The paper is yellowing though. So I hope I don't need to do some restoration work in the future.

I'll forever thank him for pushing me to write better. He once asked me to join an organization he had, but somehow we lost communication. It's just too bad. So this blog entry of mine today is to honor him, where ever he may be now. I hope I did you proud!
