Passion Sense

What is Passion? We're not talking about love and _ _ _ here. We're talking about what you want in your life. I blogged previously that the weighting of your income source comes from three different spheres - Age, the PISS and your passion.

I've shared a part of who I was before, that I used to work for an FMCG company (fast moving consumer goods, if I remember right hehe). I loved the stress, I loved the workload. I really didn't care that I worked overtime, burning the midnight oil so to speak. Passion lets you do things you thought you couldn't or wouldn't.

Sometimes though, what you're passionate about is inversely related to the amount you will receive from your labor of love. Ever heard of entrepreneurs who advise you that one of the best business decisions you will make, is to make your hobby into a venture? Well, that is true.

It's like this. Businesses fail usually because of three things -

Lack of Capital
Underdeveloped Target Market
Lack of Personal Drive

So, ergo, it follows that a business formula that works is having all the three above. If you lack the capital, but you have the drive, you will think of solutions to your problems. If you have an underdeveloped market, you will have the drive to push your product hard. Now, I'm not saying this will guarantee success, but remember, personal drive, or passion, is what sets apart successful entrepreneurs from budding entrepreneurs.

Passion, is what drives me to update my blog, daily, even though I don't have :

capital
that much readers (I think)

Hehe. See you on my next entry.
